Soon, people in Arkansas will be able to go into convenience stores and gas stations and buy lottery tickets in their own state rather than heading to one of the boardering states to get their chance at the big money.

WHITEVILLE — Columbus County will use state lottery funds to repay debt incurred in rebuilding Williams Township School. The county Board of Commissioners on Monday approved the plan. The county Board of Education took a similar vote last week.
