TORONTO (AP) – A store owner pleaded guilty Friday to fraud and theft for keeping a winning multimillion dollar lottery ticket for himself when the real winners brought it in to be validated.

A Far Rockaway man pleaded guilty last week to defrauding several people out of tens of thousands of dollars by working a scheme involving fake lottery scratch-off tickets, the Queens district attorney said.

Harriman Susan Randazzo of Harriman has won $25,000 in the New York Lottery’s Instant Payday instant game. Her winning ticket was purchased at the KG Wine & Liquor at 88-3 Route 17M in Harriman.
