BANGKOK, Jan 16 — Every day at 6am, on a patch of sidewalk on Rajadamnoen Avenue, up to 100 lottery ticket vendors set up trestle tables loaded with tickets. It would have been a long day by the time they pack up at around 6pm, but worth it; the more active large-scale sellers can make up to 40,000 baht (RM4,000) a month.
