FREMONT — A former employee of a Woodville store who stole lottery tickets is now awaiting sentencing after pleaded guilty to theft last week.

Cass County Attorney Christopher Strandlie and County Sheriff Randy Fisher, along with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and the Minnesota County Attorneys Association, caution area residents about lottery and sweepstake scams.
